The
best part of the footy is the hot dog.
Is
Don, is Good.
We
schlepped it to Etihad on Friday night to watch Richmond vs St Kilda.
I don’t
barrack for either teams, but The Husband goes for Richmond and is still trying
to convince me to swap.
It will never happen sonny.
I enjoyed the first quarter and then kind of napped through the second and third, with wake up breaks for food. I came alive during the fourth quarter which was close and a close game is a good game.
Thank goodness Richmond won, not only so I could fist pump and yell “YELLOW AND BLACK” like a toothless supporter, but also so that I wouldn’t have to deal with The Husband moping and licking his wounds.
Three little tackers, presumably players kids, ran out with the team and they were just too adorable.
Winter
is upon us and I don’t think that this scarf is going to cut the mustard.
My
sister Cat sent me these awesome red jelly sandals, perfect for Bali in a few
months I say!
Snapped
this shot of Melbourne over the Yarra on Thursday night and felt like the biggest
tool ever.
Embraced
my curls.
Affectionately
referred to as Rats Tails by my mum.
Now more like piggy tails.
Desperate
for this ottoman.
Discovered
that if I go to bed full clothed with a hot water bottle, I am destined to wake
up completely clothesless.
Shared
some macarons with The Husband. We eat half and then pass it on because sharing
is caring.
Or
are they macaroons? I have no idea.
Strawberry and Cream
Salted Caramel
Raspberry
French Vanilla
Had
time to kill on Saturday, polka dot attacked my nails.
Used
a bobby pin and it only took me 5 minutes so ordered a pizza and went to bed early as was so bored.
Wore too many stripes.
Ohhed and Aahhhed at the cuteness whilst reading Jubilee stuff.
Speaking
of cuteness, here is the mother load!!
Thomas
Henry
Raina
Whilst
recovering from the cuteness of the above children that I do so love, I shopped
for some peanut butter and decided to get this as it was on sale.
Don’t
love it like I do my trusty Kraft, but at least I wont eat a tub within a week,
with a spoon, at my work desk. Blessing in disguise I suppose you could say.
Short and sweet post.

Embrace the curls! If you looked tizzy like Kath Day-Knight, then that would be a different story.
ReplyDeleteAnd they are macarons.
Macaroons are coconut based. Macarons are almond based.
Try whipped peanut butter....even better.
Mmmmmmm whipped peanut butter sounds right up my alley!!
DeleteYour curls are amazingly gorgeous! xx
ReplyDeleteOh thanks!
DeleteThats so funny - I was looking at ottomans today too. I found that exact one but in grey. Scary.
ReplyDeleteyes yes above its MACARON. I correct so many people and they look at me like I am a dickheadaron.
Where did you find it?!
DeleteMe & the boyfriend do that with macaroons as well - so we can both get all the flavours. True love, I say.
ReplyDeleteDo some googling on the health effects of eating the hydrogenated vegetable oil in your kraft PB and you won't want it anymore. Actually, don't, it ruined it for me and I sort of wish I didn't know.
x
Nooo I don't want to know about the Kraft!! The natural peanut butter is growing on me though.. slowly!
DeleteDon't know if you can see this, but this is how we divvied up 4 macarons in Paris to share between 4:

ReplyDeleteLoving the curls and the nails and the cuteness..I mean children :-)
Haha how so?
DeleteOn the macaron versus macaroon issue, I subscribe to the viewpoints purported by I Do Believe I Came With a Hat:

The above link provides a good read if not a credible source of info.
Your blog is always a good read too.
Thanks so much :)
Deletelove the Jubilee snaps.
ReplyDeleteCute baby.
Love the polka dots. It's good to have a hobby x
Indeed it is.
DeleteYep, Macaroons are made with coconut and egg whites and sugar. I don't care I just want to gobble all the macar/on/oon/s up!!
ReplyDeleteThese macaroons sound delicious!
Deletegreat post. thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)

DeletePhil is trying to convert me to Richmond too... all i ever hear when they're winning is GO TIGES then a tiny 2 yr old voice copying "GOD-IGE" lol
ReplyDeleteDon't do it!!
Deleteim a hawks girl at heart.
DeleteI disagree, do it!
DeleteYup, it is macaron, not macaroon. Macaroons are made with shredded coconut. And they're both delicious, whatever they're called!
ReplyDeleteI love your striped shoes - they're super cute. Winter is in full force in Sydney too. So chilly. My scarves are not cutting the mustard. Knitting time, I think!
One day I will remember that it is macaron!!
DeleteI wish I could knit!!
Haha. Great post. The nails, pizza and bed night sounds like a great night in to me. haha. And I kind of want the little girls boots. And the bow. Actually, she dresses better than me. :D
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Raina dresses better than me too!!
